The employees and patrons of Bremer Manufacturing Company are proudly celebrating its 75th year in the foundry industry. Harry E. Bremer started his namesake company in 1937 with a line of aluminum sand cast grocer scoops and the firm belief that the demand for castings made of Aluminum would experience growth beyond the conventional iron casting market.
Under a managed growth plan, Bremer today is a major provider of aluminum sand castings, producing high quality, complex castings for numerous end use industries throughout the world. After moving its operation from Milwaukee in the late 60’s to Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, Bremer has continued to invest in state of the art facilities and technologies, celebrating this milestone anniversary year with a major expansion to increase capacity in air-set molding, and the ability to make larger green sand castings.
