Coordinate Measuring Machine
- Bremer Manufacturing utilizes a Hexagon Global Green S 7.10.7 coordinate measuring machine for dimensional verification of part features using PC-DMIS programming software. Our coordinate measuring machine is used to layout parts for PPAP and is used extensively for in-process checks on machined parts running in production. The volumetric accuracy of this machine at calibration is approximately 0.0003”. Gage R&R studies and capability studies are regularly performed on the CMM to verify accuracy of programs and measurements. Calibration is performed annually by 3rd party certified technicians.
- Bremer uses Rayco modular fixturing to provide quick design and setup to orient parts properly on the CMM table.
