Bremer strives to be a one-stop shop for all of your aluminum casting needs. When we receive requirements that are beyond our current capability, we work with a number of local subcontractors to get you exactly what you need in your castings.
- Coaters– Bremer works with several local suppliers to provide whatever coating requirements on castings that customers may have in order to make Bremer a one-stop shop for finished aluminum castings. The following are common coating processes we have performed:
- Powder Coating
- E Coating
- Anodizing
- Impregnation
- Polishing – If your castings have high aesthetic requirements, Bremer works with a local finishing company to provide nearly any type of finish. Many of the products they polish are used in highly visible, top of the line products.
- CNC Machining – When parts are a little too large to fit on Bremer’s CNC machines, we work with several local CNC subcontractors that can provide high-end precision machining. All of them are ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 certified.
- X-Ray Inspection – Bremer works with a couple local subcontractors that provide high resolution, certified x-ray images. You can rest assured that the inspection will meet any requirement you may have.
- Core Making – Bremer has the capability of making warm box cores and no-bake. However we will still accommodate take-over tooling from other processes by subcontracting the core making process. We work with several companies to provide cold box and 3D printed cores.
- 3D Printed Prototypes – Bremer works with local companies to develop 3D printed sand cores and mold for prototyping purposes. This method can drastically reduce lead times on samples from months to weeks.
