In-House Aluminum X-Ray Inspection

Bremer Manufacturing performs aluminum x-ray casting inspection, imaging & analysis in-house on a Mark Industries “Mark 2000” real-time, digital imaging X-ray system. This system accommodates part sizes up to approximately 23” cube, and has motorized axis controls to position and move the part to enable X-ray casting inspection of all areas.  The digital capabilities of the system allow real-time X-ray analysis of part features, and images can be archived for future reference or used for PPAP submission when requested. On critical parts, aluminum x-ray inspection will be performed on an ongoing, in-process basis, where live images of current production are compared to archived images of known good parts, or of known boundary-level defects.
